The Napoleon Series was begun some 25 years ago by Fons Libert, and continued under the editorship of Bob Burnham, to acknowledge the extraordinary talents of the man who defined an age (1789-1821) and the remarkable men and women who peopled and shaped it. The Napoleon Series sought to promote the continued, scholarly exploration of that age. The Napoleon Series was dedicated to the free exchange of ideas and information with good will, intellectual integrity, and respect for divergent perspectives, journeying in international fellowship to probe and illuminate the history of an era whose reverberations still echo today. Hundreds of people from over 20 nations contributed their time and research to make it the premier Napoleonic history site on the internet. The Napoleon Series, as we know it, came to an end in 2020.
