I would be interested to know if the Regulations and drill for the East India Presidency armies in this period were the same as in the King's service. And if there is any manuals etc that would perhaps shed some light on the matter. Obviously it would be interesting to know if procedure on active service in the EIC armed forces was also similar or followed a different model but I rather gather that is something I'll pick up from contemporary accounts and memoirs.
