Hussars of San Andrés

Does anybody know the origin or the history of a Spanish unit formed in the Peninsular War known as the 'Escuadrón de Húsares de San Andrés. There are many images of this unit online and it seems to have been an illustration in Jose Maria Bueno's book 'Uniformes Españoles de la Guerra de Independencia'. However, there is no mention of this unit in the typical sources for new regiments created in the period, Clonard or Nafziger. Does anybody know when this unit was created and what it did during the war? Did it have something to do with Juan Palerea y Blanes (El Medico) who was born in the town of San Andés in Murcia?
A big thank you in advance to anyone that can help!
