Additional Dickson Manuscripts *LINK*

This is probably old news to some, but I've only just learnt (thanks to Mark Thompson) that further volumes of Alexander Dickson's papers have been published in addition to the volumes edited by J. H. Leslie and originally published in two volumes and reprinted by Trotman in five. The additional volumes (edited by Lt- Col Vigors extend the coverage from 1794 to 1840) and would certainly be of interest to anyone interested in the British artillery, and the army more generally, in this period.

(There is a bit of an explanation of the nature of the material in Nick Lipscombe's book Wellington's Guns p 431.
