For the composition of the rearguard, I would vote for the Pavlovskii with the rearguard just due to consistency. For the artillery I would guess these would be from Stavitzky's horse artillery, again going on what I've seen in other rearguard compositions. Just a guess, but it seems like a sound and reasonable guess.

As for hussar strength ... not sure what my reasoning for this was when I wrote the article, though - too long ago. Based on what I've seen elsewhere (when there are firmer numbers available) the light cavalry is most likely to start the campaign at or near establishment while the dragoons are least likely, and the smaller horses seem to hold up better on campaign. During Ferdinand's 1805 retreat into Bohemia the cuirassier regiments had a depletion rate almost double that of the light cavalry due to exhausted or lamed horses. I'll have a look and see if I have specifics somewhere in my notes.
