Today I didn't publish a "real" contemporary series, but 30 plates done by Félix Philippoteaux ... they were bound to a 4-volume work by Adrien Pascal about the French army, published in 1847 and 1850.

These uniform plates are rather unknown (contrarly to the work of his companion Hippolyte Bellangé) and so I think valuable to all uniform researches ... and I like the way they presented the soldiers on their plates arount the 1850s.
