That confirms what I have on Charles Crookshank. In 1818, he received the the Cruz da Guerra Peninsular (Officer's Cross of the Peninsular War) in silver, signifying that he had participated in at least two campaigns. On 31 December 1820, he was awarded the Medalha de Distinção de Comando (Medal of Distinction in Command) with a bar for Salamanca.
