As you know, the reason for the Tyrolean uprising was the transfer of Tyrol to Bavaria.
De facto, after 1805, the Tyroleans were Bavarian Citizens
And when the first uprising came, Tyroleans were fighting against the Bavarian Army.
Now, my question (or my thoughts) : was it actually clever to send Bavarian divisions (Marshall Lefebvre at first, with Deroy, Wrede, Kronprinz divisions) to fight the Tyrolean Uprising ? Would the results have been better (mainly in term of excesses, revenges, etc.), if other troops would have been used there ?
Best Regards
