Napoleon Series Archive 2008

Not Much?

I have not seen any specific works on those subjects or the East Coast in general.

You will most likely only find details in larger works such as

Fortescue’s History of the British Army
Oman’s History of the Peninsular War
Glover’s The Peninsular War

For the French side, Suchet’s Memoirs.

The East Coast is a backwater to the struggle in Central Spain. Same as the fighting on the North Coast or in Andalusia. Not much mainstream interest per se.

Yet, the fighting there would make interesting reading. There is much more to all of it than just Murray’s failure at Tarragona.

Good hunting
