The Commander of the Forces refers ...to his orders on the formation and use of light infantry battalions in each brigade, and he desires that they be strictly adhered to .. the detached companies of the 5th battalion 60th regt. and those now detached from the Brunswick ... desires... when not in battalions with the light infantry companies of the regiment (sic) ... may be kept at the head quarters of the brigade.
5. Brigade Major Offerman, attached to Colonel Packenham, is to be attached to the Light division until further orders.
