Its been sometime since I read "Napoleon and Berlin", but as I recall it was well written. Especially good on the reformation of the Prussian Army, the battles of Gross Beeren and Dennewitz, profile of Bulow, and the conduct of Bernadotte and how his objectives were not always those of the Coalition.
I also, however, found the maps used to be nearly worthless. The shading used made no sense and they were sometimes placed pages away from the text they were suppoused to be relating to.
