I am pleased to report that the sequel to Crisis in the Snows, namely, Napoleon's Triumph:La Grande Armee versus the Tsar's Army The Friedland Campaign 1807 is now available.

For co-author Ralph Reinertsen and myself it was a journey of discovery about leaders (who knew that Berthier personally delivered the attack order to Ney at Friedland) strategy (Napoleon's conduct at Heilsberg foreshadows Borodino) and battlefield maneauver (the Russians often displayed tactical fluidity when confronting combat emergencies).

Also, in response to demand and to undercut the ridiculous price being asked on the secondary market, Napoleon Books made a small reprint of Crisis in the Snows.
