By the way, the duke of Braunschweig made an attempt to attack Westfalen and take Jérôme's throne and so free the country from the french occupation. He didn't succed and was nearly caught at Halberstadt, was pursued till he could embark at Helsvliet (Oldenburg) to sail back to England.

Might there exist a biography or some memories of one of those Braunschwickers about these events?
