New German books: Bavarian army / Waterloo flags

The German editor "Zeughausverlag" will publish two new books until the end of the year:

One about the Bavarian army 1806-1813, written by Markus Gärtner and another guy, together with many plates done by Peter Bunde, many contemporary images and two unpublished plates by Patrice Courcelle -in total 80 pages about the army organisation, the uniforms, the drill regulations, conscription and at least the history. The other book will be the extraordinarly well researched work about the Standards/Flags of all armies at Waterloo, done by Rolf Fuhrmann; It covers not only the flags and standards but also the uniforms of all standardbearers as well as the histories of standard losses during the 1815 campaign - a real must have for all people interested in the final campaign of Napoleon ... more infos at http://www.zinnfigur.com/all/DHome_Set.asp?Center=http://www.zinnfigur.com/shop/cgi-bin/artikel.asp&artikelnr=553/212

In know, it's a pity the books are published in German .. but perhaps there will be an English version (also of our Saxon army book) in the future.

The series will be surely continued ...

P.S. I hope to publish some more uniform stuff on my site soon
