Steven, thanks much, that drawing is new to me, and will save me a great deal of time casting about.

Related subject: I followed most of your links in the various connected postings, and if there was anything on the howitzer (chambered) look-alike version of this weapon, I missed it. Strangely, it is missing from the Morla tables, do know why that would be, as it was definitely a weapon the Spanish had in use, I've seen perhaps a dozen. I'm pretty sure I've posted some things on the howitzer here in the distant past, but I can't recall any definitive responses. Are you aware of similar information and official nomenclature for the howitzer version? I think one of the lingering questions is exactly what nomenclature is proper for it.
