Hi everyone, I was curious if anyone knew some accessible, English books or reports on Marmont in the Illyrian provinces. He played a significant role there from the information that I have read regarding his campaign. He brought his excellent corp into action at Wagram by successfully out thinking the Austrians. For that alone I give Marmont credit as being at least an above average, although not exceptional, commander. In addition he did many administrative reforms and won his title (Duke of Ragusa) there. However his campaign both against the Russians in 1806 and Austrians in 1809 have little material to look at. If anyone can give me some place I can turn for a deeper view of his campaigns there it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
