5 Companies of the 4th were stationed in Bermuda from May, 1813 to August, 1815. In November of 1814 they unit was renumbered the 2nd Garrison Battalion. Can anyone provide a uniform description of those 5 companies? Were the Garrison Battalions issued Colours? And with the unit in two separate places, where would the command staff be?
