Dear friends,

I am looking for a french officer. Nothing is knon about him except for he took part in the battles of Aboukir (1799) and Hohenlinden (1800).

So in this case he was to leave Egypt with Napoleon (more likely) or with Desaix (less likely).

He had specific Turkish saber called kilij with the engraving on the mouth (see the attachement).

Who could be that unknown officer as there were not much more than 500 oficers left with Napoleon and Desaix both?
