Maybe a browser or connection problem ?

I just tested it and had no problems at all downloading the 1812 part with Firefox. The downloaded PDF file is complete and readable.

As far as I know, there is no possibility to download only selected pages from a given PDF file. Unless you make screenshots and save them to your hard drive.
