Dear Jonathan,

Have not commented on your work as do not have my files to hand (only to be seen upon return after the New Year).

It is nice to have the commanders included with the units.

Based on a review, seems several variations in placement appear to be from us finding a comment in a participant's memoirs, report or letter.

As an example: the Prussian batteries on the Russian left are in such a document - forget now which, though it may be their after-action report - and, it sticks in my mind that Arent's battery had two pieces operating somewhat closer to the center (funny what sticks & what does not).

Perhaps the notes shall reveal something of help in your efforts. - R
