Hello,

I'm new to the forum and am researching the Spanish expedition to Denmark, to serve under General Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, in 1807-1808.

The Spanish contingent was headed by Marquis of La Romana, Pedro Caro Sureda, and defected in the summer of 1808 returning to Spain just after the revolt in Madrid on 2nd May.

So far, I have reviewed the information published in the Men-at-Arms series by Osprey, and a Spanish publication by José María Bueno Carrera, all of which contain detailed illustrations of the uniforms, researched from the works of German artist, Christoph Suhr.

I would be interested to hear any views or information on this subject.
