Thanks so much Oliver I have just read both ospreys 1792-1807 and 1808-1815.
I'm still a little puzzled perhaps you might help me a bit more
1- did they use the white or yellow cords in the end on the dolman and barrel sash ?
2-the black sheepskin saddlecloth did it have red coloured wolfs teeth ?
3-The sabretaches on campaign were they covered or full coloured monogram exposed
4- the trousers did they have any stripe down the side or not?
