Digby, I understand your distaste. I truly respect, learn from and enjoy the trouble and expense that real reenactors are willing to endure in order to demonstrate authenticity; it is a good service to history. However, as I explained, I will need only the rough appearance of a British officer of the times for a somewhat flippant few minutes during a presentation for an audience that is not likely to know or care about the difference between a cheap replica costume and the real thing.
