When there in '94 (unfortunately I didn't have the time to get there this past summer) I was very impressed with Davout's tomb. It was simple and unadorned. It was surrounded by his descendants, the generals and colonels Davout, who followed in 'the family business.'
The area surrounding Davout's grave was 'populated' by the tombs of Davout's comrades-in-arms, all of them much more ornate that that of 'The Just.'
