The best book I have read until now about Napoleon and Elba and also his escape from Elba with his 1,500 men and 34 horses in several boats, I have bought last year, in French, titled " Mémoires de Napoléon - l'île d'Elbe et les Cent-Jours", presented by Thierry Lentz.
