Another great find by Tom and a superb article by Nick. So glad to see a map of Waterloo that shows the 'Grand Battery' could not possibly have formed as close to La Haie Sainte as so many writers/presenters persist in claiming. If it had been on that low ridge half way across the valley the riflemen at LHS would have murdered the gunners, and now Nick's map shows British artillery would have had the entire battery under spherical case shot.
