Re: Two 95th Officers killed on the same horse?

I realise that certain sections of the Army were a virtual MacMafia, but is it possible that, given the shared surname, the two men were related - either older/younger brothers, father/son, or close cousins? In which case, the horse may have been inherited rather than purchased at auction.

That said, it would be odd that Smith didn't mention the two men were related - assuming he knew/recalled their identities at all, of course.
