General Douglas at Waterloo?

In a French report about Waterloo, focussing on d'Erlon*s corps, a "gal Douglas" is mentioned twice.

After the successful attack on La Haye Sainte "general Douglas with the rests of his division and of the first [division] was placed ahead of La Bonne Alliance [sic]".

After La Haye Sainte was retaken by the allies, the troops which had defended it "had even a lot of trouble to regain the square which the general Douglas had formed to receive them and which itself did not hold for long".

Who can this general Douglas be ? Is it a severe misreader for Donzelot ? Or is there another explanation ? Six doesn't mention any Douglasses.
