I am translating an account of Albuera, in which a British Colonel `Blackency of the 7th Regiment` is mentioned as having been wounded.
I cannot trace this officer. As there have been several mis-spellings of place names and peoples` names by the German contemporary author, I suspect that this is another.
Any tips as to who was intended to have been identified?
