SAHR Prize for Military Fiction *LINK*

The Society for Army Historical Research has started a new prize, given for the best military fiction.

"Many of us were first drawn into military history through great works of military fiction - the likes of Georgette Heyer's The Spanish Bride and An Infamous Army, C.S. Forrester's Death to the French, or George McDonald Fraser's Flashman and McAuslan stories. The purpose of this prize is to reward new fictional representations of the British Army that strive for the same standards of historical accuracy as these illustrious forebears but which, we hope, also have the literary merit to inspire a new generation of military history enthusiasts and scholars."
