This is actually a plea for help from the experts.

I would like to find out what happened to some KGL officers after they returned to Hanover post 1815. I know that some, particularly those wounded, simply went on to half pay and returned to civilian life, yet others went on to serve in Hanoverian regiments. It is these that particularly interest me. Is there any German equivalent of the British Army List which gives details of regiments served in (or posts held), a brief outline of career, and what subsequent awards and decorations they were awarded? Or has this information to be gleaned piecemeal from archives? (I am not looking for anything much more than an outline)

Any help/guidance would be much appreciated. If I have to use an English speaking archivist are there any recommendations?.
