The battle of Albuera seems to have been a bad day for the regiment and the etat major. All three chefs de batallions wounded the Porte Aigle Grelet wounded and 2e Porte Aigle Jean Gerard killed. At the moment I am not sure if Pierre Vincent Froment was wounded as well, but he was still serving with the regiment as 3e Porte-Aigle in 1815, so if wounded not serious enough to put him out of action for long.
