I’m looking for information on cannon ball ballistics from fixed positions, ie forts, field fortifications. Are there any published studies of “effectiveness” Re multiple grazes, vs the alternative when the ball doesn’t bounce?
I know ground conditions mud vs dry are factors, are there other factors that increase or decrease grazes?
