The Legion du Midi received an eagle as did the Hanoverian Legion. It should be noted that both of these units disappeared in 1811. The Hanoverian Legion and the troops of the Hanseatic states were converted into the 127th, 128th, and 129th Ligne in that year and the survivors of the Legion du Midi went into the reactivated 11th Legere along with the Bataillon Valaison, the Bataillon de Tirailleurs Corses, and the Tirailleurs do Po.
