Re: Dutch unit locations 1809

In de Bas, Vol 2, I found this footnote:

8) Volgens de decreeten van 17 Jan 1807 en 9 Febr. dv. Was opgericht het Zeeuwsch Legioen – later Kon. Legioen der Eilanden – vit het 2e en 3e Bat. V Reg. Inf van linie te completeeran vit Zeeuwsch inboorlingen, 2 comp Art te voet en 1 comp Rijd. Art. Berevens 1 comp. Gens d’arms.

Can someone help translate? My interpretation is that the V Regiment was made up the 2nd and 3rd Battalions of the Zeeuwsch Legion, of local (native) population, later called the King's Island Legion - complete with 2 foot artillery companies and one 'horse' company; with a company of gendarms attached. But my Dutch is less than okay (for fans of the AT&T commercial).
