Wagram historical days July 5th-7th 2019 -

Dear All,

Commemorating the 210 years celebrations of the battle of Wagram I like to inform you that at the Museum at Deutsch-Wagram the "Wagram history days" will take place from from July 5t to July 7th 2019. There will be a program containing celebrations, a camp with reenactors and in the evening of the 6th a historical reenactment "Show" in the city itself. For those interested i a big reenactment and only reenactment - there will be a large renactment organised by Austerlitz.org the following week (July 12th to 14th at Znaim (Znojmo).

Beside that, there will be a small congress at the Museum. The congress will be mainly in german language, but there is the possibility, that one or two days (Friday and or Saturday) or specific blocks will be in English Language. For those who might not know the Museum is it the house that was Archduke Charle's Headquarter before and during the battle of Wagram. In the room the lectures will be - the so called "Erherzog-Carl-Saal" as eyewitness accounts tell, it was the specific room that Charles had his Office.

All contributions are welcome. For those who like to participate: From keynote Speach of 50-60 Min to normal contributions of 20 min or short statements of 5 min everything is possible. The more a topic has to do with the battle of Wagram, the fighting army contingents the better it will be.

Of course visitors are also welcome and a detailed program will be available in May.
