That's a toughie! Quite likely though that the logs will at least mention the boarding of the animals, if nothing more specific (the logs I've seen have generally been more concerned with the weather and the direction of the wind). I wonder if a quick perusal of the online newspaper database would turn up some gems about what ships were leaving for Lisbon over 1812/13? It's the only thing I can think of suggesting.
