I am looking for information on General Martin de la Carrera who was operating in the vicinity of Ciudad Rodrigo in the spring and summer of 1810.

I have Oman's History of the Peninsular War, Wellington's Dispatches, and Donald Horward's Napoleon and Iberia: the Twin Sieges of Ciudad Rodrigo and Almeida

They provided information on what he was doing but nothing on the man himself.

Does anyone know of a short biography of him?
