Indications are that Captain Patrick Campbell served in the Spanish Army as a Colonel.

It appears that Campbell’s Company left Cadiz 28 January and landed at Cartagena 2 February 1812.

It was commanded by 2nd Captain Arthur Hunt with 1st Lieutenant Thomas Grantham who served as Town Major of Cartagena. Left Cartagena 17 April 1814 and returned to Cadiz. Left Cadiz for Britain 16 August 1814.

Remained Campbell’s Company until 1825.
