12. Decreet van 8 Aug. 1809. Het V Reg. Inf. werd opgeheven en gevoegd bij het VII Reg. Inf.

13. Decreet van 20 Aug. 1809. Het IX Reg kreeg de benam. v. het V Reg. Inf. Decreet van 7 Sept Een nieuw IX Reg. werd opgericht.

12. Decree of 8th August 1809. The 5th regiment is dissolved [as an independent body, obviously] and [its parts] attached to the 7th regiment.

13. Decree of 20th August 1809. The 9th regiment receives the name of [is renamed] the 5th regiment. Decree of 7th September. A new 9th regiment is raised.
