guys i'm enquiring about the later French napoleonic period 1811-15 -if eagles were only issued to the first battalion/squadron of a regiment what did the other btns or squadrons carry in the field if anything at all????
only fanions/only flag poles with flags (no eagles) etc etc if so what finial/head did these flagpoles have= spear head type or??? did they use cravats???
