Millar, Charles (17** - February 1811)

Also as Miller.

Ensign 103rd Foot* 1784, Half-pay 1784-1788, Ensign 64th Foot 1788, Lieutenant 64th Foot 1791, Captain 64th Foot 1795, Major 1st West India Regiment 1796, Brevet Lieutenant Colonel 1802. Retired army 1803. *disbanded 1784

Served in Portuguese Service 1809-1811. Promoted Brigadier 1809.

Peninsular War: Commanded brigades of the Portuguese Army 1809-1810 and commanded in the Portuguese Militia 1810-1811. Died of illness in the Peninsula 1811.
