According to the "Recollections of Colonel de Gonneville", volume I, pages 205 & 206, the 3rd Dutch Hussars were commanded by a Colonel Van House in December 1808 and January 1809. Martinien, gives his name as Van Goes. I can find no information on him in either Six or Quinton.
Does anyone know the correct spelling of his name and what his full name was/
When he commanded the 3rd Dutch Hussars?
He gave up command on 6 January when he was seriously wounded at Toro.
Thanks!
Bob
