1. Do you know when he commanded the regiment?:

I just provided the entry from the

Biographisch woordenboek der Nederlanden, ..., Vol 5-6, 1862, p 78:

It states he became kolonel of the regiment in 1806 (perhaps upon promotion?). It also states he returned home and was the promoted to G-M. (I'll bet you can read more Dutch than you thought.)

2. Can you provide a source for the name ...:

My first post is from the Naam-Register der Officieren van de Koniglije Hollandsche Armee over den Jare 1808, p 71 promotion date, p. 215 regimental position. Both pages provide his full name. This volume is in my collection.
