Thanks Steve. This was most helpful. His account has the action starting around 2pm. The claim is that all of the discussions and decisions caused further delay in the plan being carried out.
I believe that the 10am attack is probably accurate. Gorschakov's 1st Corps carrying out this attack with the result being that they fled back down the hill from the French position. Wittgenstein then rallied his troops, dispatched couriers to recall the right column of Eugene and Pahlen with the resulting main attack taking place at 2pm.
Sometime after this ... 4pm? .... the 5th Corps launches their assault.
