This assessment clearly explains his 'untrustworthy' actions on 14 October 1806 where Bernadotte did disobey orders and left Davout alone while he 'traveled' between the two battles and didn't engage the enemy at all, silencing Sahuc who wanted to countermarch his division to go to Davout's aid.
