I would argue--strenuously, with primary and archival sources from both sides of the conflict--about the facile, outdated, and inaccurate depiction of Zaragoza.

Further, trying to interpret anything between 1800 and 1815 using present-day US military parlance and theory is risible. Just one more reason that these Command and Staff College thesis papers are suitable, mostly, for lining the bottoms of birdcages.
