Dear Josh, the idea with this book was to focus on the continental campaigns 1805-1814, as that's a particular topic that is both core to the NS and that Helion are actively trying to expand our output on. If it works - and there's some good stuff promised, so I hope it will - then we could then do others in the same format looking at the Peninsular War, the Hundred Days, naval and colonial warfare, the Revolutionary Wars, etc. By the sounds of it, your ideas would better fit one of those later potential volumes, but if you think that any of them would make for a standalone book then by all means I'd be happy to discuss those ideas with you now. Having just had a proposal in for a book about Maratha armies, I'd certainly be keen to commission something on British forces in India to go alongside it if that would be something that you'd be tempted to tackle.
