Well I was taught Peterloo at school (British Economic and Social History), but that was 40 years ago. Tolpuddle Martyrs, Chartists, the Cornlaws and the Great Reform Act, the whole 9 yards (not even metres). We even unapologetically covered the buidling of empire without trigger warnings or opt-outs. The past is a different country, they do things differently there....
