Re: Saxons at Dennewitz 1813: Cerrini and Quistorp

Cerrini, Feldzüge der Sachsen 1812 und 1813, p. 275, gives for 7th Sept. 1813 nearly 9.000 men plus 2.230 horses. The losses between 30th August and 7th Sept. were 28 officers, 3.313 men dead and wounded plus 312 horses ( https://books.google.de/books?id=csJRAAAAcAAJ&pg=PA271 ).

Quistorp, Geschichte der Nord-Armee 1813, vol. I, p. 450, lists for 4th Sept. Div. Lecoq with 9 1/4 batl. 5.136 men, 16 guns, Div. Sahr with 8 batl. 3.981 men, 20 guns, and the Saxon Cavalry in 13 esc. in total 1.361 men with 9 guns.

Hope that helps, best regards,
Thomas
